The Product Geek is a daily product management training application operated by Arindam Nath ("I", "me", or "my"). The app delivers one product management case study per day, collects your response, and shows you pre-authored feedback.

What Data I Collect
Data You Provide
- Email address — collected during sign-up via email/password, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In
- Display name — optional, used to personalise your in-app experience
- Preferred notification time and timezone — so your daily case arrives when you want it
Data Generated by Your Use
- Case responses — which option (A, B, C, or D) you selected for each case, and how long you took to respond
- Progress data — cases completed, current streak, longest streak
- App usage events — which screens you view and when (e.g., case viewed, feedback viewed, option selected)
Data Collected Automatically
- Device push token — required to send your daily case notification via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)
- Anonymous analytics events — collected via Mixpanel to understand how users engage with the product (e.g., activation, retention, completion rates)

- Payment card details or billing information (handled directly by Google Play)

- Any data from other apps on your device

How I Use Your Data
Data - Purpose

Email address - Account creation, login, and account recovery
Preferred notification time - Scheduling your daily push notification
Case responses - Determining which feedback to show you; tracking your progress
Usage analytics (Mixpanel) - Understanding engagement patterns to improve the product
Push token (FCM) - Delivering your daily case notification
I do not use your data for advertising. I do not sell your data to any third party.

Third-Party Services
The app uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

Data Retention
Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data (email, responses, progress) is deleted within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated analytics data (which cannot identify you) may be retained indefinitely for product improvement purposes.

Your Rights
Regardless of where you are located, you may:
- Access the personal data I hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your account and associated data
- Export your response and progress data
- Withdraw consent for analytics tracking (via in-app settings)
To exercise any of these rights, email help.theproductgeek@gmail.com. I will respond within 30 days.
Account deletion: You can request account deletion by emailing help.theproductgeek@gmail.com with the subject line "Delete my account." Your data will be deleted within 30 days.

Data Security
Your data is stored on Supabase's infrastructure, which uses row-level security, encrypted connections (TLS), and role-based access controls. I do not have access to your password — authentication is handled by Supabase Auth.

Children
The Product Geek is intended for users aged 18 and above. I do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has registered, please contact help.theproductgeek@gmail.com and I will delete the account promptly.

Changes to This Policy
If I make material changes to this policy, I will notify you via the app or by email at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the app after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
